Yuka ANDO

Characterized by refined shapes and colors, Yuka Ando’s vases are both Western and Oriental, antique and contemporary, and have an universal beauty.

A unique gradation of deep and slightly dull colors seems to reflect the gradations of color in nature.

Yuka ANDO (1982- )

1982  Born in Osaka, grown up in Nishinomiya, Hyogo

2005  Graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics

2007  After two years of working in LA, return to Japan

2009  Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural College of Ceramic Technology

          Studied under Masahiko Ichino 

2012  Go to Denmark

2013  Started working as an artist in her hometown, Hyogo.

2016  Moved to Himi, Toyama and started Atelier production

2021  Moved to Tambasasayama, Hyogo and started Atelier production.
